Hi, my name is Phil Kinane (Mr. Kinane to public servants), I am 35 years old and what hair I have left on my head is going a very distinguished shade of gray particularly around the sides. In a certain light it actually looks rather nice. I am devastatingly handsome but modesty forbids me to go on with my personal attributes. I have three boys, Rory 9, Myles 7 and Elliott 3. I also promised to mention my two nephews, Ben (Cool Pic) (old) and Damien (older).

We live just outside a small gold mining town called Stawell (pronounced stall). Stawell is about 230 Klms west of Melbourne which of course is in Victoria, Australia. We live on a nice little 15 acre elevated block overlooking The Grampians (a spectacular mountain range). I will post some pictures on this page as soon as I get some scanned. The area has an abundance of wildlife and we often get large numbers of kangaroos grazing around the house. In the summer however, we are sometimes plagued with snakes, nasty spiders and all sorts of things that bite you, sting you, suck you, nip you, eat you, tax you and if your very unlucky, maybe even kill you. One of Australia's nastiest most feared predators would have to be our misguided, misinformed pathetic excuse for a Prime Minister, Mr. John Howard. (Oh well, I suppose every country has their own species of vermin).

I enjoy lots of things, my kids, reading computer books, reading computer magazines, computers, I love anything with lots of lights, buttons and things that go beep, buzz, ping or whirr. When I am not playing with my computer or my kids, I like to play with my girlfriend Sue .........................
Oh yes, and her three kids, Ashton 7, Claye 5 and Avery 2. Oh God what am I doing ?

There is no particular reason for me creating this WEB page. I decided to do it as everyone else seems to have one, so why not me ?. I believe in the phrase that what’s his name coined.... you know, the over rated ugly artist bloke (the dead one)... ah yes, Andy Warthog, "Everyone is famous for 15 minutes". Well I subscribe to that philosophy (amongst others), so here is my very own web page.

While you are reading this, I am frantically working on my next revision which hopefully will have lots more Java stuff and other goodies, maybe. I was limited with what I could do as my ISP ( Ballarat Net Connect) only allocated me with 200K on their server. They wouldn't even let me say....... # $ & % or they threatened to wipe my page off. Then I heard about Geo Cities. So here I am on Sunset Strip I believe, for no particular reason other than there was a vacancy.

I do not have a programming background so when I decided to start with my page I thought "Oh God where do I begin". I owe a lot of thanks to Vince Mendrik for his assistance and advice in the creation of this page. Thank you Vince !. I also used the HTML Easy Pro HTML editor. I tried a lot of them but found this the most comfortable to work with. The icons, lines and buttons used in the construction of this page were stolen from "Graphics For Your Web Pages" Textures for the background were ripped off from "Over The Rainbow".
